Avoid Getting a Failure to Appear for Your Traffic Ticket

Avoid Getting a Failure to Appear for Your Traffic Ticket- blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.

Many people ignore the due date listed on the bottom of the ticket handed to them by the officer, and fail to take any action until they receive a notice from the court telling them how much the ticket will cost.

Unfortunately, the notice sent by courts, referred to as a “courtesy letter” or “courtesy notice”, is not mandatory. There is actually no requirement for the court to send you this notice.

You must take care of the ticket by the due date listed on the bottom of your ticket, whether or not you receive any notice from the court.

If you ignore the due date you face serious consequences such as being issued a Failure to Appear, which is a misdemeanor and can lead to license suspension. Be sure to take of your ticket by the due date and don’t just wait for the courtesy notice! You can always call the court or go online to the courts website to find out how much your ticket will cost. –  blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
