On Saturday December 27, the California Highway Patrol will be conducting a decoy enforcement operation in an effort to improve safety for pedestrians and bicyclists on north Sacramento County roadways, reported The Sacramento Bee.

According to the Sac Bee, Officers will be looking for violators of all forms: drivers, pedestrians, even bicycle riders.

Remember both drivers and pedestrians have a duty to give the right of way. A motorist cannot drive unreasonably close to a pedestrian and a pedestrian cannot enter a roadway in front of a car.  As for bicyclists, remember, you can be stopped if you don’t follow the same traffic laws that apply to motorists – like yielding to pedestrians. – blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
