This month is all about distracted driving. Or should we say it’s about not driving distracted.

The Department of Transportation notes at any given moment during the day in 2014, hundreds of thousands of vehicles were being driven by someone using a hand-held cell phone, according to the CHP.

During “Distracted Driver Awareness Month,” drivers caught texting or using their mobile devices when behind the wheel will be issued citations.
