When you’re caught for speeding the first thing that comes to your mind is where is the officer’s proof? I want to see the proof. This may prompt you to demand to see the officer’s radar gun.

In California (or any other state that we aware of) however, an officer does not have any duty to show you the radar gun. If the officer refuses, there is not much you can do, it is not worth getting into an argument and the officer will think you are questioning his authority.
