How to Avoid Getting Fooled by a Traffic Ticket Scam

How to Avoid Getting Fooled by a Traffic Ticket Scam – blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.

If you get a call demanding payment for an unresolved traffic ticket, make sure it’s not a scam. The CHP is warning the public about a recent series of phone scams where the caller claims to be a member of the CHP and asks for payment for outstanding fines.

Another phone scam popping up in the mid-west, involves red light cameras where people are getting calls about tickets from red light cameras that don’t even exist.

If you do have a traffic camera violation you should get a notice in the mail that may include information like the courthouse, due date, driver name, vehicle information, and pictures of the car and driver in question.

If you weren’t handed a ticket by an officer and did not get a violation notice in the mail, then be wary of any phone call demanding payment for unpaid ticket fines –the court and law enforcement agencies will almost never call you directly. – blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
