The “Fair Justice Act” introduced earlier this month by U.S. Representative Cleaver, seeks to end the practice of using law enforcement as a “cash register.” It would even prevent cities from generating more than 35 percent of their budget from traffic tickets.

This bill if passed, would be welcomed by SoCal residents.
