New “e-bikes” law takes effect on January 1, 2016. This legislation clarifies the regulation of electric bicycles in California like how and where cyclists can ride electric bicycles.

E-bikes will not be subject to the registration, licensing, or insurance requirements that apply to motor vehicles but the same rules of the road will apply to e-bikes that apply to human-powered bicycles.

Whether on an e-bike or regular bicycle, rules like stop signs, red lights do apply. – blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
