Stricter Law for Negligent Drivers Coming Down the Pike for 2012

Stricter Law for Negligent Drivers Coming Down the Pike for 2012 –blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.

Per the National Transportation Safety Board, one alcohol-impaired driving fatality occurs about every 45 minutes and repeat offenders represent about one-third of all drivers arrested or convicted of driving while intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol.

California plans to come down even harder next year on motorists who repeatedly drink and drive.

Currently California penalizes these types of repeat offenders by revoking a person’s driver’s license for a three year period. This applies for those who are convicted of drinking and driving 3 or more times within a ten year span.

Next year the license revocation period is set to increase from the three year period to a ten year period. –  blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
