If You Set Off A Red Light Camera, It Doesn’t Necessarily Mean You Will Get A Ticket

If You Set Off A Red Light Camera, It Doesn’t Necessarily Mean You Will Get A Ticket – blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.

Red Light traffic enforcement cameras are set up at intersections to get a clear shot of you running a red light. If the photo isn’t clear enough then the employees viewing the photos may disregard the ticket since they don’t have clear evidence.

The next step if the police feel they have enough evidence is usually to send you a notice asking you to sign a form and mail back to them. At this point if you don’t fill out the form and mail it back then there is no real ticket in the mix. A real ticket isn’t filed with the court till you send back that form identifying yourself as the driver or someone else.

If you are concerned about getting a red light ticket in the mail, you won’t have to worry for too long. If it’s been more than 2 weeks since the time you think you set off the red light camera then chances are you won’t be getting a ticket. Police have slightly more than 2 weeks (15 – days) to issue the ticket otherwise you may be able to get it invalidated. –  blog submitted by staging-vadusuxe.kinsta.cloud, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
